“Frank Dermody led the fight to bring the necessary resources to improve water, sewer, roads, and parks in our communities. Without him, we wouldn’t have nearly enough resources.”

- Tony Taliani

Dermody Delivers

Brought over $200 million to our region attracting over $2 billion in private investment creating and saving over 15,000 jobs.

Secured a $1.2 billion investment in the world’s most modern specialty steel mill, saving jobs at Allegheny Ludlum, and throughout the region.

Saw this region on its knees and fought to get it back on its feet helping neighborhoods improve roads, fix potholes, infrastructure improvements and investing in our community parks.

Funded the New Hulton Bridge improving commutes and making it safer for school buses and families.

Has always fought for local public schools and stopped attempts to take our school dollars and give them to for-profit charter schools in Philadelphia.

A former county prosecutor who locked up murderers and child molesters, Dermody also took on corrupt public officials, including impeaching a Supreme Court justice and forcing the leader of his own party from office when he discovered corruption.

Provided $96 million in state grants to nearly 5,000 small businesses across Pennsylvania.

Helped bring Affival Inc. to the Advanced Manufacturing Plant in the New Kensington and Arnold area, saving 50 local jobs in the steel industry in the middle of this pandemic.
